Management Team

Peter Stewart: President, CEO, & Co-Founder

Pete Stewart brings more than 16 years of security technology and business management experience to TraceSecurity. Under Pete’s leadership, the company has grown its customer base to over 400 clients worldwide representing over $200 billion in assets. They have also closed both Series A and B investments with investors who collectively maintain more than $3 billion in assets. With Pete’s guidance the company won the Louisiana's Governor's Technology Rising Star Award as well as several other nationally-recognized accolades.

Pete has a track record of growing and developing successful companies. Prior to TraceSecurity, he served as President and CEO of Blaze Technologies, a security vulnerability management company that was merged with Patchportal Inc. to form TraceSecurity. As Executive Vice-President and General Manager of McAfee (NYSE:MFE), one of the largest security software companies in the world, Pete played a vital role in growing the company from $39 million to over $900 million in revenue and market capitalization from $200 million to over $6 billion. Previously, Pete held management positions at Micrografx (Nasdaq: MGXI) and Fifth Generation Systems (Nasdaq: SYMC).  

Pete holds a Bachelor Degree from Louisiana State University. He was recently awarded Business Person of the Year, 40 under 40. Philanthropically, he is on the Board of Directors for both Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and Woman’s Hospital, both nationally recognized leaders in their fields. Pete also serves on the Governor's Small Business Entrepreneurship Commission and a Co-Chair to Congressman Richard Baker’s Inner Circle 500. Previously, Pete served as a member of the Louisiana National Guard 239th Military Police Unit.

Robert Guba: Chief Compliance Officer, Co-Founder

As Chief Compliance Officer, Rob Guba is responsible for overseeing and managing the areas of security compliance and policy management relating to TraceSecurity solutions and services. Robert has over 11 years experience in the technology industry with deep expertise in regulation and compliance standards. Robert has a successful proven track record in providing IT security technology solutions to Fortune 500, government and other various industries.

Robert is one of the original founders of TraceSecurity. He was a member of the management team at PatchPortal prior to the merger with Blaze Technologies in the formation of TraceSecurity. Prior to PatchPortal, he held various sales, marketing and technical management roles for companies including CSA, Industry.Net, Perot Systems, and Network Associates / McAfee.

Robert attended University of Houston and Louisiana State University where he studied architecture and economics.

Jim Stickley: CTO, Vice President of Engineering, & Co-Founder

As CTO and Vice President of Engineering for TraceSecurity, Jim Stickley has been instrumental in directing the TraceSecurity strategy. Jim is responsible for developing and releasing multiple versions of the software used by hundreds of clients today. Jim is in charge of the guiding principles and structure of all TraceSecurity solutions including products and services. Jim has over ten years experience in the hi-technology industry.

Jim is one of the original founders of TraceSecurity as TraceSecurity was formed from the merger of his and Guba's company, PatchPortal, and Blaze Technologies. Prior to PatchPortal, Jim worked in management roles at Blaze Technologies and other security companies.

Additionally, Jim is a renowned security expert. He has been involved in thousands of security services for financial institutions, Fortune 100 corporations, healthcare facilities, legal firms, and insurance companies. He has been a consultant for 20/20, Network Associates, numerous magazines and newspapers and was featured in Time Magazine, Business Week, Fortune Magazine, New York Times and other industry specific publications such as PC Magazine and Security Focus. He has also been showcased on NBC's "Nightly News", CNN's "NewsNight", CNBC’s “The Big Idea” and numerous times on NBC's "Today Show".

Furthermore, he serves as a speaker at numerous security-related tradeshows, conventions, seminars and forums throughout the US, covering topics that range from basic network security to national cyber terrorism. Jim is also on the editorial advisory board for IT Defense Magazine where he writes a monthly column for IT titled Cyber Sideline.

Through the years Jim has discovered numerous security vulnerabilities in products such as firewalls, PKI servers, online banking applications and PDA devices.

Dariel LeBoeuf: Senior Vice President, Channels & Business Development

As Senior Vice President of Channels and Business Development, Dariel LeBoeuf is responsible for forging strategic relationships. Previously Dariel ran all sales initiatives at TraceSecurity. He grew the sales and sales engineering team by 500% since joining TraceSecurity in October 2004. Under Dariel's guidance, customer acquisitions have doubled in that same timeframe.

Dariel specializes in enterprise account sales and sales management, both of which he mastered while at Tripwire. At Tripwire, Dariel worked as the Western Regional Sales Director, whereby he managed four regions. Prior to Tripwire, Dariel worked at Symantec Corp, where he acquired numerous awards and accolades, including the 1998 Large Account Representative of the Year and the Achiever's Trip Award in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998. Also in 1995, Dariel was ranked the number one representative worldwide, exceeding his quota by 230%.

Dariel began his career at Fifth Generation. While at Fifth Generation, Dariel managed sales to Fortune 1000 accounts in 13 states and received the top salesman award twice.

Dariel graduated from Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Business Analysis.

Allison Doherty: Chief Financial Officer

Allison Doherty is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the financial and accounting systems and reporting, providing technological direction and resources, corporate policy and human resource administration. Being of critical foundation, Allison has over 20 years vast knowledge of operational efficiencies.

Allison graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University and is a licensed CPA. She brings to TraceSecurity more than a decade of CFO experience. She played a similar role at Louisiana Companies beginning in 2001. Prior, Allison was at LCR-M Corporation for ten years with her last seven years as CFO, where she was responsible for various facets of accounting, finance, cash management, tax, human resources, risk management, safety, and the formulation and administration of organizational policies. Allison played a key role in more than four acquisitions as well as a divestiture to Home Depot.

Ken Berridge: Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales

In this pivotal role, Ken Berridge is responsible for directing the company’s customer-facing sales organization to achieve the highest levels of customer service, professionalism and market leadership. Trace currently maintains a number of sales locations in North America, plus an outbound customer call-center in the Dallas, Texas area.

With more than 30 years of experience in the information technology industry (and starting as a computer programmer), Ken has a unique mixture of technical, marketing and sales leadership experience. Ken says that when he was programming he was “helping create the Y2K problem” (so it’s been a while). Prior to TraceSecurity, he worked as Director of Professional Services, Director of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Sales and Vice President of North American Operations for market leaders such as Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Capgemini, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), CA (Computer Associates) and others. In addition, Ken co-founded and operated a technology marketing consulting firm where he assisted more than 200 software and services companies in their marketing and sales efforts.

Ken also co-authored Computer Systems Conversion, which was published by McGraw-Hill in 1990. He attended the University of Texas where he earned his Bachelor degree in Business Administration.

Tracey Mustacchio, Chief Marketing Officer

Tracey Mustacchio has over 17 years of experience in marketing, business development and product management. As Chief Marketing Officer, Tracey is responsible for overseeing all of TraceSecurity’s marketing and product management functions, including go-to-market-strategy, public relations and lead generation. Prior to joining TraceSecurity, Tracey held senior level marketing and product management positions at Secure Software (recently acquired by Fortify Software), McAfee, Business Evolution (acquired by Kana) and Verisign, as well as operating her own strategic marketing consultancy, which specialized in providing marketing and product management consulting to high growth companies.

At Business Evolution, Tracey positioned the company as a strategic eCRM provider and was instrumental in the company’s sale to Kana Communication for $140 million. During her tenure at McAfee, revenues grew from $25 million to more than $900 million, and Tracey led product marketing and product management for all product lines.

Tracey holds Math/Computer Science and Philosophy degrees from Virginia Wesleyan College, where she graduated as one of ten Wesleyan Scholars.

R. Dayle Alsbury: Director of Security Services

Dayle Alsbury is responsible for managing the engineering security services division. This includes comprehensive assessments, penetration testing, social engineering and security awareness training. With his comprehensive security background, and numerous certifications including CISSP, Dayle insures the highest level of customer service that is associated with TraceSecurity. In addition to managing and training the engineers of TraceSecurity, Dayle also contributes to the management of the overall security of the TraceSecurity Network.

Dayle, with a bachelor's degree in business management and an MBA in financial information systems from Southeastern Louisiana University, has had over 12 years of experience in a variety of systems and network-related management and administration. Most recently he was senior network and security administrator at Baton Rouge-based Starmount Life Insurance Company. Prior to that Dayle was technology supervisor of the service division of United Companies Financial Corp., also in Baton Rouge.

Brady Justice: Director of Systems Engineering

As Director of Systems Engineering, Brady Justice is responsible for leading the sales engineering team, supporting the sales team, and ensuring clients receive outstanding service. Brady plays a key role in the management team; since his time joining TraceSecurity Brady has continually exceeded milestones. Brady has over seven years in the high-technology field.

Prior to TraceSecurity, Brady was a senior security engineer for Garrison Technologies. Prior to Garrison, Brady worked as an independent consultant in the high-technology field maintaining and running several networks including large telco's IRC servers. He also provided security expertise on IDS and firewalls and other security technologies, and system administrator expertise for several webhosting and shell-providing companies.
