Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Part-Time Information Security Analyst (ISA) at TraceSecurity is to work directly with clients to perform a variety of Information Security services. The ISA will work closely with the Customer Success Managers to maintain project timelines and seamless communication with the client. This position is a part-time role with the chance to turn into a full-time one!

Responsibilities

  • Penetration Testing (External/Internal Network)
  • Social Engineering
    • Remote (Phishing/Vishing/Smishing)
  • IT (Information Technology) Control Audit
  • IT Risk Assessment
  • Vulnerability Scanning and Review

Requirements

  • Experience in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field
  • Networking experience
  • Systems administration experience in Linux and Windows
  • Self-driven to continuously develop professionally
  • Works well within a team environment
  • College degree and/or equivalent IT industry training or work experience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Positive attitude

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Certifications:

  • Security solutions understanding (IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, SIEM, DLP, Antivirus)
  • Windows and Linux Operating Systems
  • Certifications (Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), PenTest+)
  • Information Technology & Networking certifications (CCENT, CCNA, CCNP Security, Cloud Technology certifications)
