IT Support Technician
Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our IT team at TraceSecurity. They should have a broad understanding of computing systems, networking, storage systems, virtualization, and IT security. Most importantly, the support technician should have the skills to excel at diagnosing an issue, finding a solution, and documenting the result.
The IT Support Technician will oversee the local area networks, internet connectivity, VPN, and cloud connectivity. Daily tasks may include supporting desktop operating systems, Windows and Linux servers, business applications, security tools, email, and printing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Workstation imaging and support
- Maintain network and system security
- Monitor system performance
- Maintain Active Directory environment
- Support system backups
- Support VMware environment
- Administer Windows and Linux servers
- Support file share and printing activities
- Patch management
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
- Experience with Cisco networking
- Experience with VMware
- Desktop and Server support Experience
