Sales Development Representative

We are looking for exceptionally talented and motivated individuals to help us deliver the world’s best cyber security compliance services and software for thousands of customers. You will be teaming up with a group of consultants, analysts, and engineers from diverse backgrounds who are continually challenging the status quo.

About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a member of a growing team that is changing the way companies view cyber security.

We’re looking for candidates with excellent communication skills and a desire to discover new business. You will leverage your understanding of technology to instill confidence in the TraceSecurity offerings and become a subject matter expert to prospective TraceSecurity clients. You will use consultative sales methodologies to identify customer goals, operational pain-points, and compliance needs to determine what type of solution Trace can deliver.

At TraceSecurity you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact at TraceSecurity and provide a world-class customer experience to prospective clients
  • Manage inbound lead qualification and outbound pipelines
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
  • Identify, prioritize, map, and qualify target accounts within a defined territory

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, or customer success; or
    • A recent undergraduate with a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
  • Problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skill
  • Strong aptitude/interest in cyber security, technology, and continuous learning
  • The ability to quickly engage with customers and overcome objections
  • Confidence
  • Hard working – you are the hardest working person you know
  • Competitive – you are a winner, and nothing will stop you

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency with SalesForce, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn (or other comparable tools)
